Heritage As Opportunity

In November 2008, Liverpool was accepted as a partner in the HerO (Heritage as Opportunity) Project. This is a project funded by the European Union under the URBACT II Programme.

The project aims to develop integrated and innovative management strategies and urban development policies to facilitate the right balance between the preservation of built cultural heritage and the sustainable regeneration historic cities.
